Mualps is a brand created by the Blue River Dairy Limited Partnership on 07 February 2014.

Founded by Mr Keith Neylon in 2003 in Invercargill, New Zealand, Blue River's products cover the full range of dairy products from cheese, ice cream, whole milk powder, skim milk powder and infant formula. With 70% of the world's sheep whey resources, Blue River is currently the world's largest supplier of sheep milk ingredients and the only brand name in the world that can produce the full range of infant formula from sheep milk, goat milk and cow milk at the same time.

Blue River is one of the New Zealand Government's key supporters. Founded in 2003, Blue River has grown into a major milk powder producer with its own brands, factories and farms in New Zealand and around the world, providing the world with a full range of high quality products from sheep milk, cow milk and goat milk.

 

 

 

Brand Story

 

Blue River, a rare sheep dairy brand from New Zealand, was founded in 2003 in Invercargill, New Zealand by Keith Neylon, a former Air New Zealand captain. On a chance flight, Keith met and was introduced to a wealthy Jewish man who kindly invited him to his home and served him rare sheep's milk.After drinking the milk, Keith was so impressed by the taste of the milk that he had the idea of bringing sheep milk breeding stock to New Zealand. The Jewish tycoon was very impressed and told him that sheep's milk is known as the "noble of milk" and is one of the best animal dairy products in the world. Blue River, the world's most precious sheep dairy brand, was born! Its products include a full range of cheese, ice cream, full cream, skim and infant formula dairy products, which are not only well known in New Zealand, but are also highly sought after by consumers in Europe and America. Blue River sheep milk has been selected to represent New Zealand dairy products because of its rare and high quality milk, rich nutrition and taste.

Pure New Zealand milk, haze-free and oxygen-free

Blue River has its own polar pastures in New Zealand, located at 46°S in a haze-free and oxygen-free zone, and is renowned worldwide for its high quality milk.

For over 100 years, New Zealand pastures have been grazed by local people in the traditional way, which is fundamentally different from the captive breeding in Europe. Free-range cows are free to graze in the vast pastures, happy and content, naturally producing high quality and flavourful milk.
