Irish culture
Irish culture is derived from Celtic culture and consists mainly of literature, music, dance and sports traditions.
Irish belongs to the Celtic language family, and the same language family of Scottish Gaelic, Welsh closely related, there are many similarities. The early history of Ireland appeared in the form of literature, mainly in the form of "poetry" and "history", as well as heroes, legends and epics. Christianity was introduced into Ireland in the 5th century. In the early Middle Ages, Ireland survived the war that destroyed the Roman Empire and remained an isolated center of Christian learning. From the 6th to the 11th centuries, when Europe was still in the Dark Middle Ages, Irish clerics set up centers of religious learning throughout Europe, so Ireland was known as the "Island of Scholars and the Island of Scientists"
Literature and Art
Celtic culture was devastated by the invasion of England in the 12th century AD. Until the early 19th century, Irish was the language spoken by the majority of the population, but by the end of the century only 15% of the population could speak it.
English was introduced to Ireland in the 12th century, and Irish writers began writing in English in the 13th century. Ireland has produced many world-famous writers and artists, among whom four have won the Nobel Prize for Literature: poet William Yeats (1923), playwright George Bernard Shaw (1925), playwright Beckett (1969, for Waiting for Godot) and poet Heaney (1994). There are also Oscar Wilde, the representative of 19th century aestheticism, and Josie, the author of Ulysses, the highest achievement of the stream-of-consciousness novel.
At the end of the 19th century, with the revival of national culture and the independence of Ireland, the Irish language has been restored and exhibited to a considerable extent. About 35% of the Irish population now speak Irish. At present, Irish is a compulsory subject in primary and secondary schools. The National Irish Language Council promotes the use of the Irish language throughout the country, establishing Irish radio and television stations.
Music plays an important role in Irish culture, and the harp is a typical traditional musical instrument in Ireland. Its shape was chosen as the emblem of Ireland, which shows the extremely important position of music in Ireland.
Irish hockey (hurling) is a unique tradition that dates back to before the arrival of Christianity in Ireland (5th century AD) and is the fastest grass sport in the world.

The sector generates 10.8 per cent of Ireland's exports and 8 per cent of employment, with exports accounting for more than 80 per cent of total industry output. Irish food and drink is sold to more than 180 countries around the world, with the UK and continental Europe accounting for over 70% of its overseas market. China has become the world's second largest export market for Ireland's pork and dairy products and fifth largest export market for its food and drink.

China's main exports to Ireland are mechanical and electrical products and light industrial products, while China's main imports from Ireland are mechanical and electrical products, chemicals, medicines and food.
Food is one of Ireland's most important exports, of which beef is particularly important. General situation of beef: the main cattle breeds in Ireland are continental cattle breeds and hybrids, such as Charolai cattle, Limousin cattle, Simmental cattle and Hiford cattle. There are also different ways of raising cattle in Ireland, which can be divided into grain-fed cattle and grass-fed cattle: Whereas farm-raised grain-fed cattle in Ireland tend to have beautiful snow patterns and a melt-in-your-mouth taste, grass-fed cattle have the advantage of being higher in protein and lower in fat, which is acceptable to most people.
